My own personal desire to live life actively to the full started me on my journey of re-training as a Sports Massage and Remedial Soft Tissue Therapist.
Being a Mum to 2 children and continuing to try and follow my own sporting pursuits I was becoming increasing aware my body wasn’t quite as forgiving as it used to be! I love the outdoors and my current sporting interests include triathlons,
mountain biking, skiing and keeping up with my children. So my quest was to learn more about my body, how it moves, where niggles and aches come from and why, how to keep fit and continually push myself and remain injury free. I studied, qualified and continue to study professionally as a hands-on Soft Tissue Therapist.
I am qualified with a BTEC Level 5 Sport Massage and Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy at the highly regarded North London School of Sports Massage (NLSSM). Also, I qualified with an Advanced Clinical Diploma in Integrated Myofascial Therapy, a 15 day course, research papers and final exam to qualify with Myofascial Release UK.
I am professionally insured and a member of the Sports Massage Association (SMA).
